Babiana
These are nicknamed baboon flowers because it is said that baboons love to eat the corms.  They have cup-shaped, six-petaled blooms that open successively from the bottom to the top.  The flowers range in a mixture of colors including pink, purple, blue, red white and cream.

Babiana Stricta is an early-summer-blooming bulb that produces as many as 20 sweetly scented, 1 1/2" flowers in combinations of blue, rose or pink. The blooms last for 3-5 weeks.
