Crocus are one of the earliest Spring flowers and are excellent for mass plantings.  Grow crocus in drifts or as a mixed group in a herbaceous border.  They are also beautiful in raised beds or rock gardens and are very useful for naturalizing in the grass.  Excellent naturalizer.
