Haemanthus Multiflorus - also known as Blood Lily - is usually grown as a houseplant or in the garden in warmer climates. It's sometimes listed as part of the genus Scadoxus. Each has a mass of nearly 100 tiny scarlet flowers in spherical allium-like umbels on top of a thick stem.
