Jonquilla Daffodils

Jonquilla Daffodil Bulbs

A Jonquil is actually a Narcissus that is part of the classification “Jonquilla” which refers to the very thin, rush‐like foliage of this type of Daffodil. True jonquils will usually have two to six blossoms on a single stem.  Well known for their fragrance, which resembles honeysuckle or jasmine, they also tend to be somewhat small.  They are good perennializers that appreciate hot summers, so they do well in the Deep South.  Good as a cut flower or in rock gardens.
