The Japanese Iris (Ensata) ‘Rising Sun' is bright yellow and large. It can be grown in any location from the garden to the water garden, where the rhizomes should remain just above the water level. One bushel (approximately 100 bulbs) will cover an average of 150 sq. ft.  Japanese Iris is not invasive and should not be confused with "yellow flag" or "yellow water iris" (Iris pseudacorus).
