The Squamigera Lycoris (also called 'Naked Ladies,' ‘Magic Lily’ or ‘Resurrection Lily’), with large, clear pink, trumpet shaped blooms, are sweetly fragrant additions to your landscape. You may have forgotten all about them when suddenly, almost overnight, the blooms open atop thick, leafless stems! Unlike the spider lilies, it's a bit hardier and can take the cold better if you are from zones 5 or 6, but be sure to provide some mulch in the fall for protection.  Please noteit is common for Lycoris to take a year or more after transplanting before blooming.
